Lake Park American Legion fire under investigation

(Lake Park, MN) -- Lake Park's American Legion Post is closed following a fire within the building.

American Legion Post 181 says the blaze was contained to the building, which suffered significant smoke and fire damage. The building was not occupied at the time of the fire, and no one was injured as a result of the blaze.

The Lake Park Police Department says they are still attempting to determine the cause of the event, but says the fire does not appear to be suspicious. There are no damage estimates available at this time.
