ND Game and Fish: Burning banned on Oahe Wildlife Management Area until further notice

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Game and Fish Department are banning open burning on the Oahe Wildlife Management Area (Oahe WMA).

The Game and Fish Department says all open burning, incuding campfires, is banned until further notice on the Oahe WMA along both sides of the Missouri River. The use of portable grills is allowed, but The Game and Fish Department is asking for extreme caution to be used. 

The open burn ban also includes Kimball Bottoms and Maclean Bottoms, Desert Off Road Vehicle Area, and Graner Park managed by Morton County Parks.
