Grand Fork's Alerus Center releases 2021 performance report

(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Alerus Center has just released its 2021 report.

The center had planned on a three-year rebuilding strategy, and were surprised by a turnaround. The Alerus Center raked in $891,748 in revenue, amounting to a total of, $190k in profit. 

The report also goes into several record breaking events. Luke Combs set the record for attendance, tickets sold, food and beverage sales, and became the third highest in merch sales. Eric Church set the highest food and beverage sales per person record, and third in venue for food and beverage sales. UND football also set records, reaching the highest attendance and tickets sold records. The report says 404 events were hosted throughout the year. 

The report also details their COVID-19 response. The Alerus Center administered more than 37,000 vaccines in 33 days, and collected more than 17,000 tests in 66 days. 

The report also says The Alerus Center brought over $9,000,000 dollars of total economic impact to the region.
