Minnesota reporting record number of job vacancies

(St. Paul, MN) -- The state of Minnesota is reporting a record number of job vacancies.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Develop released its latest jobs report this week, which notes that vacancies are up 68-percent compared to 2020. The DEED reports shows 214-thousand job openings, the highest in state history.

DEED announced Tuesday that it would be conducting a Summer of Jobs campaign to connect workers and employers.
