Minnesota hockey coach fired after allegedly trying to solicit teen

(Sleepy Eye, MN) -- An assistant coach for a Minnesota hockey team is out of a job after allegedly soliciting a teenager for sex.

Former Minnesota Wilderness coach Brendan Phelps appears in a video being circulated by a group called Midwest Predator Catchers. They allege Phelps was trying to meet a 16-year-old boy in Sleepy Eye.

Police say they are aware of the video and an investigation is underway.
