(Jeffers, MN) -- A farmer in Jeffers is facing federal charges for allegedly defrauding grain purchasers.
James Clayton Wolf is accused of falsely labeling non-GMO grains as organic. Prosecutors say Wolf had been conducting the organic grain fraud scheme from 2014 to 2020, making him over 46-million dollars.
He could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the wire fraud charges against him.
