(Bismarck, ND) -- The majority of North Dakota's counties have an elevated COVID-19 transmission risk.

Ten counties are at high risk, 27 are at medium risk, and 17 are at low risk.

Over 18-hundred cases were reported Friday in the weekly total. That number is nearly twice the rate from two months ago, with case numbers jumping as highly contagious mutations of the omicron variant spread.
