(Bismarck, ND) -- Several bridges and an overpass in the state are being named for North Dakota military veterans.

Governor Doug Burgum signed a bill Tuesday authorizing the placement of signs by the state Department of Transportation naming three bridges for specific soldiers.

An overpass in Jamestown is being designated Hidden Wounds Veterans Overpass in an effort to raise awareness for mental health struggles faced by many veterans.

A fifth bridge is being designated as Veterans Memorial Bridge.
