(Fargo, ND) -- If you buy car insurance in North Dakota, results of a new survey could help you determine if you're paying too much.
"It's always nice if they can look at okay, well if I was with XYZ company, what would my premium be, what would I be paying, and what would we be looking at? We certainly don't encourage you to shop solely on price when you're shopping for insurance and you're looking at different coverages but I think it's a nice tool to use to compare," said North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread.
Godfread says his office has just completed the state's annual Auto Insurance Price Comparison Survey. The survey includes several policy examples, from a wide range of providers, along with breakdowns based on where you live in the state.
