(St. Paul, MN) -- A report from the state shows job vacancies fell last year across Minnesota, but demand for workers did not.

The report from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says job vacancies in the second quarter of last year totaled 185-thousand, down ten-and-a-third percent from the same quarter in 2021.

Overall demand for workers remained high, especially in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, retail and food service.
