Minnesota state senate voting on legalizing marijuana

(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Senate is voting on legalizing marijuana.

The marijuana bill would allow those who are at least 21-years-old to buy up to two ounces of cannabis flower, 800 milligrams of edible products, and eight grams of concentrate.

It would also allow individuals to grow up to eight cannabis plants in their home.

The bill was passed by the state House on Tuesday.

If the bill passes, both the Senate and the House will come together and come up with a compromise bill which would be voted on again for final approval.
