(Bismarck, ND)  --  Health officials are reminding residents to dump any standing water around their yard.

Mosquitoes are starting to hatch in the state which means the insects will be looking to bite and to breed.

Water in bird baths and any containers that are collecting or holding water including pet dishes should be eliminated or refilled with fresh water regularly.
