(St. Paul, MN) — The proposed Sanford-Fairview merger will have another set of eyes watching over the process.
A bill passed the Minnesota Legislature that allows the state’s Attorney General to oversee large-scale transactions. If the two healthcare facilities unite, approximately 80,000 employees would be impacted.
Sanford Health says they “remain confident” in the possibility of merger going through.
