(Fargo, ND) -- Work is expected to begin on the on Fargo's tri-level intersection early next week.

The I-29 and I-94 construction projects would add a new eastbound lane on I-94 that exists between the tri-level and 25th St. interchange. As a result, the right shoulder of I-94 for eastbound drivers will be temporarily closed. Traffic will be shifted towards the north side of the interstate during the construction period.

I-29 will also see lane closures. The exit ramp on the northbound I-29 to eastbound I-94 ramp will see a right shoulder closure. Another closure will occur on the right shoulder on the trilevel from southbound I-29 to eastbound I-94. I-29 will also see a closure in the left lane and a partial closure on the right lane at different times for new overhead traffic signs.

The construction is expected to start on June 5th. You can learn more about ongoing construction points across the state by clicking here
