(Glenburn, ND) -- A waste water spill from a pipeline has been reported in Renville County.
The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality was notified of a produced water spill that occurred last weekend. Produced water is a by-product of oil and gas production. Over twenty-four-thousand gallons of produced water were reportedly released, and may have affected agriculture and wetland areas.
The spill is being investigated and remediated by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality.
