Clay County Sheriff's Office and Moorhead Police Department to participate in Special Olympics Torch Run

(Moorhead, MN) --  The Clay County Sheriff's Department is joining law enforcement personnel from across the state in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg for Special Olympics Minnesota. 

A Clay County Deputy will begin the run on Monday, June 19th, at 8:00 a.m. at the Law Enforcement Center. The deputy and a Moorhead Police Officer will hand the torch off to a Becker County Representative. The torch will be one of many across the state which will be ran to the Twin Cities area. Anyone is welcome to attend the run from its beginning, but especially Special Olympic athletes.
