New North Dakota Republican Party official: vote for sweeping change was "not with malice"

(Fargo, ND) -- The new vice chair for North Dakota's Republican Party is talking about the total change happening in party leadership.

"It happens that this cycle there was total turnover of the state committee but I don't believe and I certainly hope that that was not with malice toward the preceding officers because they all work really hard, they're good people, I call them all as friends," said John Trandem.

Trandem says infighting within the party over the past couple of years was only intensifying and hopes that new leaders will be able to restore calm in the ranks.

Trandem appeared on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind". To listen to the full interview, click here.
