(Minot, ND) -- A Minot native has made his hometown proud after leading his AHL Hershey Bears to the Calder Cup championship.
Mason Morelli picked up a critical assist on a goal that got the Bears back into Game 7 against Coachella Valley Wednesday night.
Hershey forced overtime and won 3-2.
Morelli had 13 points with five goals and eight assists in the postseason after averaging a point a game during the regular season.
