North Dakota audit of Solen School District finds $2 million dollars in unapproved expenses

(Bismarck, ND) -- The State Auditor's Office says it has uncovered over $2 million dollars in unapproved expenses by the Solen School District.  

The findings are a result of a routine audit.  The audit found there was not sufficient documentation for financial statements and there were mistakes made in processes meant to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
