(Grand Forks, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol is releasing the results of a sobriety checkpoint that was set up on Friday.
Authorities say 91 drivers traveled through the checkpoint, and several citations were issued. A total of five drivers were cited for impairment violations, with one being arrested for DUI, two open container citations, and another for wrong way driver citation.
A second sobriety checkpoint was scheduled for the county on June 16th, but was canceled due to “unforeseen conflicts”.
