(Sacred Heart, MN) -- An aerial drone likely saved a man's life after he was spotted injured laying on railroad tracks.
The incident began with a rollover crash near Sacred Heart on Sunday, when officers found a crashed, burning vehicle with the driver nowhere in sight. It was determined that the injured driver had likely wandered away, and he was spotted collapsed on railroad tracks via a drone. A train heading towards the man was halted, and he was taken to a hospital in St. Cloud to be treated for his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
