(Valley City, ND) -- Three people are facing criminal charges after they reportedly led Valley City police on a vehicle pursuit.
The incident began early Sunday morning when an officer tried to pull over a pickup truck with four people inside, when it took off and sped towards Interstate 94. As police pursued the vehicle, it reached speeds over 100 miles-per-hour, and the occupants allegedly threw objects at the pursuing officers and tried to blind them with flashlights. The truck eventually crashed into a flooded ditch, and police arrested Dulijeta Beganovic, Eric Paye, and Benjamin Emerson.
The three were charged with multiple crimes, while a fourth person is still at large.
