(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakotans can look forward to spending a little less each month thanks to some changes to the state's sales tax law that go into effect today.

State officials say the first change helps growing families, as diapers are now exempt from the state's sales tax. Other changes include an exemption for some purchases by some senior-citizen organizations, and Disabled Veterans and their surviving spouses.
