(Washington, DC)  --  South Dakota Senator John Thune is pushing Congress to prioritize the Farm Bill.

Parts of the 2018 bill are set to expire in a few months, and Thune wants lawmakers to act fast.

The Farm Bill contains provisions for food stamps, disaster aid, and agricultural subsidies.

Congress has only eight legislative days left before the scheduled start of August recess.
