(Bismarck, ND) -- The State School Superintendent has revealed the four finalists for the 2024 North Dakota Teacher of the Year.
Kirsten Baesler announced the four finalists who include Andee Mattson from Ely Elementary School in Rugby, Shelia Peterson who teaches physical education at Wachter Middle School in Bismarck, Megan Wasness who teaches English at Devils Lake Central Middle School and Trisha Schaefer who teaches math at Ramstad Middle School in Minot.
The four finalists were all County Teachers of the Year in 2023.
The winner will be announced September 28th at the State Capitol.
