Suspect in White Earth shooting death voluntarily surrenders to Los Angeles Police Department

(Pine Point, MN) -- A suspect is in custody that is connected to the shooting death of a man on the White Earth Reservation.

Omega resident Michael Dwayne Croud voluntarily surrendered to the Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday. Croud is accused of killing David Wayne Hanks Jr. in a shooting at Pine Point, Minnesota on the White Earth Reservation. The suspect had a warrant out for his arrest for 2nd Degree Murder in connection to the shooting.

Croud is awaiting extradition to Minnesota.
