Several North Dakota driving laws days away from going into effect

(Bismarck, ND) -- There are several new laws that go into effect in a matter of days.  

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is reminding drivers that on Tuesday, August 1st, the primary seatbelt law goes into effect. The primary seatbelt law allows police to pull a driver over if no seatbelt is detected. The ND State Legislature and also passed a law that mandates drivers use their turn signal when exiting a roundabout.  Another requires drivers move over for stationary vehicles displaying hazard lights.
