( Fargo, ND) -- Despite some good rain over the weekend, a large portion of North Dakota remains in drought.

The storms brought the states's most significant rainfall since June, with most of the rain falling in and around the Fargo area. Other areas across the state haven't been as lucky, with only isolated showers developing farther north, none of which produced substantial rain.
