ND Vision Zero says approximately 2.1k citations were issued in July

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol and Vision Zero are releasing details about the number of arrests and citations made during the Click it or Ticket campaign in July.

A total of 2,077 citations were given during the overtime patrols, with just under 800 due to failure to wear a seatbelt and 847 for speeding. Additionally, five were arrested for drug related charges, and an additional 10 warrants were served. The Highway Patrol is reminding drivers that North Dakota passed a law that allows deputies to pull over motorists who are not wearing their seatbelt.
