Law enforcement still searching for West Fargo woman after tip to her location turned into a false lead

(Valley City, ND) -- A promising tip on a missing West Fargo woman has turned out to be a false lead.

A Valley City area farmer reported talking to a woman at a farm shop who he believed to be Jonett Wanner, who's been missing from West Fargo since July. Law enforcement personnel, search teams, and dive times combed areas surrounding Valley City, but found no sign of the missing woman. Authorities say a woman has since come forward to say it was her in the farm shop that day, not Wanner.
