(Pekin, ND) -- A West Fargo man is dead after a motorcycle crash outside of Pekin.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the unnamed man was riding his motorcycle westbound on Highway 15 about 1 mile west of Pekin. The man's vehicle dipped into the north ditch while going around a curve and struck a railroad crossing embankment, ejecting the driver. The crash resulted in fatal injuries.
The West Fargo man was not wearing a helmet.
The driver's name will be released at a later time. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
