(St. Paul, MN) -- More than half of Minnesota students are failing to meet the grade-level standards in math, reading, and science.
That's according to the 2023 Statewide Assessment and Accountability Data released by The Department of Education.
The report shows that 60-point-eight percent of students failed to meet standards in science.
While, over half of the students did not meet reading standards and 54-point-five percent did not meet math standards.
Officials say students, families, educators still need support to recover from the pandemic school closures.
