(GRAND FORKS) -- A 32-year-old Grand Forks man was cited for reckless driving and care required after the semi-truck and trailer he was driving, loaded with sugar beets, overturned in Grand Forks on Thursday afternoon.

Grand Forks Police say officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of Gateway Drive, near the Loaf and Jug, for a semi-truck and trailer that had rolled onto its side just before 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The semi-truck is owned by Knudson Farms.

Its driver, 32-year-old Steve Clapsaddle, of Grand Forks, turned into the gas station, when the fully loaded semi-truck tilted over onto its passenger side, causing the load of sugar beets to spill onto the ground.

No injuries were reported.
