Motorcycle crash kills two in Grand Forks County

UPDATE: The Highway Patrol has identified the victims as 59-year-old Timothy Olson and 44-year-old Nicole Brown, both of Drayton.

(LARIMORE) -- Two people are dead following a motorcycle crash on the southwest edge of Larimore on Saturday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 2021 Harley Davidson was westbound on Grand Forks County Road 4, on the southwest edge of Larimore, riding in a convoy of motorcycles on a club ride. The driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, and the Harley Davidson entered the north ditch, vaulted off a driveway, and came to rest in the north ditch.

Both riders were ejected and sustained fatal injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
