More walk-in acres for North Dakota hunters

(Bismarck, ND)  --  The State Game and Fish Department says there will be more walk-in access land to hunt on this year.

The department recently said there was an increase in landowners joining the PLOTS program.

PLOTS is short for Private Lands Open to Sportsmen.

There are about five-thousand-additional acres for hunters and over 800-thousand-acres overall that are available through PLOTS for walk-in hunting access only.
