Two North Dakotans charged with drug possession after arrest near Sisseton

(Sisseton, ND) -- Two North Dakota men have been arrested in South Dakota after police found drugs in their car.

The vehicle was pulled over Sunday morning near Sisseton, and a police K9 alerted officers of the presence of drugs in the car. Police searched the car and recovered marijuana, THC wax, psilocybin mushrooms, and nearly a-thousand dollars in cash. Elijah Morrow and Bruce Gunderson were arrested and both are now facing numerous drug-related charges.

Gunderson is facing two counts of felony distribution of a controlled substance, one count of felony distribution of marijuana (1oz but less than ½ lb), two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, one count of felony possession of marijuana (2oz to less than ½ lb), one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of open container in a motor vehicle.

Morrow is facing two counts of felony distribution of a controlled substance, one felony count of distribution of marijuana (1oz but less than ½ lb), two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of felony possession of marijuana (2oz to less than ½ lb), one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of open container in a motor vehicle. 

Both Morrow and Gunderson are currently free on bond.
