Minnesota Board on Aging handing out $750K for dementia education

(St. Paul, MN) -- Small Minnesota organizations are receiving grants for dementia education efforts.

The Minnesota Board on Aging says they're giving out 750 thousand dollars in grants to fight Alzheimer's and related dementias.

Family Service Rochester is receiving the highest reward of nearly 150 thousand dollars to work with local medical centers.

The goal is to strengthen coordination between healthcare and community-based organizations.
