North Dakota sees taxable sales increase 17 percent

(Bismarck, ND)  --  North Dakota has seen a rise in taxable sales and purchases in the second quarter of this year.

The Bismarck Tribune says taxable sales are up 17-percent compared to the second quarter of 2022.

April, May and June saw taxable sales and purchases total nearly seven-billion-dollars.

Tax Commissioner Brian Kroshus says the strong second quarter is evidence of a healthy state economy.
