(St. Paul, MN) -- The governor and lieutenant governor of Minnesota are in Tokyo this week to explore trade opportunities with Japan.
Governor Walz, Lieutenant Governor Flanagan and state economic development officials will be part of today's Midwest U.S.-Japan Association Conference.
They'll meet with business leaders who currently have interests in Minnesota following the conference.
More than 50 Japanese companies are currently operating in the state.
