Enderlin's only grocery store set to close

(Enderlin, MN) -- The sole remaining grocery store in Enderlin will close its doors next week.  

Residents say they learned of the imminent closure of the town's Supervalu after the store's owner posted a notice last week.  Mayor of Enderlin, Deon Maasho, says the closure will make it more difficult for residents, many of whom are elderly, to keep living in Enderlin. He says, after the town's last grocery store closes, the nearest option will be 20 to 40 miles away. He says the situation is further complicated by the fact that many residents no longer drive.  

The mayor says town residents will have to come together as a community to find a solution.
