Motorcyclist is dead after a Monday night crash with a pickup truck in Grand Forks

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A motorcyclist has died in a crash in Grand Forks. 

The crash happened at 36th Avenue South and Columbia Road just before 9:00 on Monday night. According to law enforcement officials, the biker died in a collision with a pickup truck, while the driver of the truck was not injured. Grand Forks police are asking for the public's help in the investigation of the crash.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the Grand Forks Police Department or leave a tip on their Facebook page. Authorities are expected to release the identity of the deceased once next-of-kin is notified.
