Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation announces production company changes for Medora Musical

(MEDORA) – Changes are coming to the Medora Musical.

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) announced Wednesday a change in the theatrical production company for the Medora Musical. The show, which will be celebrating its 60th edition this coming year, was previously produced by StageWest Entertainment. On Wednesday, TRMF announced that RWS Global has been selected for the theatrical production of the Medora Musical.

“RWS presented a clear vision for taking the Medora Musical to the next level and ensuring that this great North Dakota tradition will be around for decades to come. We look forward to working with them to build on what is an already wonderful show,” TRMF President and CEO Randy Hatzenbuhler said in a statement. “When Harold Schafer engaged Al Sheehan Productions to produce the first show in 1965, it was exceptional. Beginning in 1992, Curt Wollan and StageWest Entertainment have worked with us to continue the tradition. We are grateful for their contributions and the hundreds of performers, creators, designers, technicians, and countless others who have helped shape and elevate today’s Medora Musical.”

TRMF says RWS Global will begin work in October 2023 on the 2024 Medora Musical, which is set to open on June 5.
