(Edina, MN) -- Two Edina teens have invented an app to help teachers become more aware of their emotions and feelings.

The app developers, Taara Verma and Siena Pradhan's "Feel Now" app aims to help teens track their mental and emotional health. The app allows users to document how they feel once a day. Verma says one of the top features reminds users they are not alone, and can see other friends who are tracking their emotions.

The World Health Organization says one in seven kids aged 10 to 19 are battling a mental health disorder, who they say are vulnerable to social exclusion, discrimination, stigma, educational difficulties, risk-taking behaviors, physical ill-health and human rights violations.
