(Bismarck, ND) -- Pheasant season opens statewide this weekend.
Saturday marks the beginning of the season which extends to January 7th.
Shooting hours are from a half-hour before sunrise to sunset.
Nonresidents are not allowed to hunt on state wildlife or conservation PLOTS land [[ Private Land Open to Sportsmen]] unless it is PLOTS land they own.
Hunters should expect higher numbers or those similar to last year.
