(St. Paul, MN) -- A statewide coalition against relationship abuse is raising awareness this Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Violence Free Minnesota released their annual Homicide Report. They found 24 Minnesotans died due to intimate partner homicide last year. 21 of those victims were women killed by their current or former partner. The other three victims were either innocent bystanders or trying to break up a violent situation. Violence Free Minnesota says these deadly incidents left more than 30 kids without a parent.
