ND Supreme Court rules against Nikki Entzel, says there was sufficient evidence for guilty verdict

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota State Supreme Court has rejected Nikki Sue Entzel's appeal.

The court ruled there was sufficient evidence for a jury to find her guilty of conspiracy to murder her husband Chad. Prosecutors said Entzel and 45-year-old Earl Howard conspired to kill Chad Entzel and burn down his house to collect insurance.

A jury convicted Entzel last October, and in February the courts sentenced her to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
