(Jamestown, ND) -- A former Democratic challenger is filing official paperwork announcing their intent to run for the 2024 election.

Katrina Christiansen filed her statement of candidacy with the U.S. Federal Election Commission on Wednesday. Christiansen is challenging Kevin Cramer, a Republican who is up for re-election in 2024, for one of the two GOP held senate seats. Christiansen, who ran as the Democratic candidate in the 2022 election and obtained 25% of the vote, lost to incumbent John Hoeven, who won 56.4% of the vote and the Senate seat.
