ND Vision Zero says 601 citations issued in U Drive. U Text. U Pay enforcement campaign

(Bismarck, ND) -- A statewide traffic enforcement agency is announcing the citation totals of an anti-distracted driving campaign.

Vision Zero says a total of 601 citations were issued by law enforcement agencies across the state throughout September in the "U Drive. U Text. U Pay." campaign.

Vision Zero gave a breakdown for the full list of citations.

305 - Distracted Driving
110 - Speeding
41 - Not wearing a seatbelt
40 - Other traffic citations (disobeying traffic signals, equipment violations, etc.)
24 - Citations for suspended and revoked licenses.
12 - Uninsured motorists
10 - Drug related arrests
