(Grand Forks, ND) -- Roland Reimers has been sentenced for blocking a train in Grand Forks.

The 80-year-old Political Activist was charged with Disorderly Conduct after he stood in front of a train at a railroad crossing and prevented it from moving in October of 2022. Authorities say Reimers told officers he wanted to make a citizen's arrest because the train was blocking the street.

Reimers is sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation and must pay a $500 fine.
