(Washington, DC) -- Legislation to protect the independent worker has been introduced by North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer and several Republican Senate colleagues.
Cramer says the Modern Worker Empowerment Act creates a clear definition and standard across federal law to protect independent workers.
Cramer says the Biden administration's labor policies burden entrepreneurs and impede an individual's ability to choose their desired employment path.
Other sponsors of the bill blame the Biden administration and labor unions for 'turning the screws' on Americans just trying to make ends meet.
